DIANE MOORE - VOCALIST ENTERTAINER

                            About

LAND OF HOPE & GLORY

To commemorate the 60 Anniversary of the end of World War II, Diane decided to produce and perform a wartime show paying tribute to the fantastic music of the 1940’s.
This has proved tremendously popular with her audiences and over recent years the show has expanded to not only include the nostalgic and sentimental favourites, but also pays it’s respects to the patriotic, roof raising sing along classics from the East End of London.

Land of Hope & Glory is testament to a golden age of love, loss, camaraderie and kinship - the like of which will never be seen or experienced again. The songs that bound a nation together through the most terrifying and uncertain period of it’s history, are performed with warmth, vigour and humour by Diane, who always relishes performing to her audiences who lived through the blitz, the air raid sirens, bombed streets, ration books and gas masks.

A trip down memory lane is the order of the day, hopefully surfacing the more happier memories of the war.

Diane performs a variety of songs from the era including hits such as :

Don’t sit Under The Apple Tree,  Lilli Marlene,  Chattanooga Choo Choo,  White Cliffs of Dover,  Now Is The Hour, In the Mood
and Bless ‘em All.

And Cockney sing alongs such as

Down at the Old Bull and Bush, Maybe It’s because I’m a Londoner,
Side By Side  and  Bye Bye Blackbird.

LAND OF HOPE & GLORY
is a funpacked show where audience participation is a must!

It’s truly a show not to be missed!
